Step back to the turn of the 20th century with these elegant antique wire-rim spectacles, crafted from solid 10k gold and fitted with curved riding (cable) temples that wrap securely behind the ear.
Unlike many gold-filled frames of the era, these glasses acid-tested as solid 10k gold, making them a rarer and more desirable find. The oval lenses remain intact, housed in their original thin wire rims, with only gentle age wear expected from a piece over 100 years old.
- Type: Wire-rim spectacles with riding/cable temples
- Era: Circa 1890–1915
- Material: 10k solid gold frames (tested)
- Condition: Very good antique condition; frames show light age wear, lenses intact
- Details: Original oval lenses, hooked temples, classic Edwardian style
✨ Whether displayed in a collection, worn as a historical accent, or valued for its gold content, this pair of spectacles is a timeless piece of Edwardian craftsmanship.
