A relic of old-world craftsmanship, this vintage cigarette case was made in Germany and carries the elegance of a bygone era. The front is decorated with detailed scrollwork engraving, while the back is smooth and unadorned for contrast. Inside, two elastic retainers hold items securely — originally designed for cigarettes, but equally useful today for business cards, cash, or keepsakes.
Stamped simply “GERMANY” inside, this piece dates to the 1930s–1940s pre-WWII years, or the immediate postwar occupation era, before items were marked “West Germany” or “GDR.” That makes it both a functional accessory and a collectible slice of history.
- Origin: Stamped Germany (pre-WWII / early postwar)
- Material: Silver-tone metal (nickel silver or plated)
- Engraved scrollwork design, smooth back
- Double-sided with original elastic retainers
- Measures approx. (insert measurements here)
- Condition: Vintage with light surface wear consistent with age (see photos)
Whether displayed in a collection or carried as a statement accessory, this case is timelessly stylish.
